Shakespeare papers given same cultural status as Magna Carta
Ninety Documents relating to the bard’s life have been added to Unesco’s heritage list.

“Amy Hurst, collections archivist at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, in Stratford-upon-Avon, commented: ‘The documentary trail left by Shakespeare provides a rich narrative of his life, giving unique insight into his personal circumstances and how these may have influenced his creative work.’”
Of course, there are still some who say we hardly know anything about Shakespeare! HMR
