Touchstone bears the professional equipment of a court jester: note the puppet-headed bauble and the hat with ass-ears. Younge worked as "a Low Comedian" for Samuel Phelps at Sadler's Wells, where Mrs. Marston also acted (with her husband) mostly in comedy with parts such as Audrey and Mrs. Quickly.
