The Two Noble Kinsmen by John Fletcher William Shakespeare 1634
Unlike contemporary references to the play King Henry VIII, this title page asserts openly that The Two Noble Kinsmen was jointly authored by Shakespeare and Fletcher, though its continuities with Shakespeare's oeuvre do suggest it sustains motifs from such earlier plays of his as A Midsummer Night's Dream with its Theseus and Hippolyta roles. See: Wickham, Glynne, "The Two Noble Kinsmen or A Midsummer Night's Dream, Part 2," Elizabethan Theatre, 7. 167-96. Note also that it was apparently composed for performance at the indoor Blackfriars Theatre and was very successful there.
