4.4 John Lowin (1576 – 1659): played Henry VIII.

Lowin played Henry VIII for Shakespeare, supposedly at his direction, passing on points to the play's later producer, Sir William Davenant, so that play is one with an unbroken production history from Shakespeare to the present.
