This shot shows how isolated from the stage Beatrice is, while overhearing her friends from the gallery, which suggests why the gallery was rarely used (except for musicians and audience), despite Juliet's famous scene there. The stage is in an earlier less ornate condition than its final appearance (shown later in this subset).
