Spanish Inn Beer-garden
This garden has been one of the principal attractions of the Inn and suggests the kind of location that elicited the Ode to a Nighingale. Such taverns notoriously attracted Shakespeare and appear as settings for scenes in many of his plays, such as Henry IV and Merry Wives.
