Elegia di Madonna Fiammetta: an early copy of Boccaccio's romance.
Fiametta is a kind of amorous narrative, analogous to the sources of Romeo and Juliet, with many vicissitudes. It helped confirm the interest in the genre, including many of the amorous sentiments found in Dante and Petrarch.
