Benedick derided, at Shakespeare's Globe, Lpndon, 1996.
Benedick is mocked by the courtiers for accepting the deception about he Beatrice's love for him. Typically Shakespeare doubles the humor by making Beatrice equally deceived (compare addition of a second pair of twins to the story in The Comedy of Errors). At this true resolution of the play, the blocking leaves considerable space between Beatrice and Benedick so that the tension and resolution between the two can be loudly expressed for the benefit of the whole auditorium.
