E18 Learning About the Globe Stage 1997

Beginning in 1997 the Globe Centre USA developed previous courses at the International Globe Centre to allow training and exploration on the Globe stage by students, teachers, scholars, actors and directors. Here we can see how the broad stage invites widely-spaced blocking of groups. Note the attempt to revive the rushes supposedly used on the original Globe stage, but which proved a stumbling block to modern actors in Henry V.
