Will Caesar meet the Senate?(2.2)
Note the diversity of costumes, a mixture of modern and ancient Roman. Calpurnia (Domenique Lozano) is a true Roman matron, but the guards are dressed like the FBI. Caesar (L. Peter Callender) wears something that could be a modern or Roman dressing gown; Cassius (James Carpenter) has a kind of ancient Roman business suit but wears spectacles and carries a modern brief-case. Antony (Andy Murray) looks vaguely like a Greek athlete in his leathers and kilt. The mixture of styles matches the famous picture of the Elizabethan costumes from another Roman play, Titus Andronicus, by Henry Peacham (circa 1595).
