Macbeth: Edwin Booth (1833-1893) as Macbeth

Edwin Booth seems to have done well in saturnine parts perhaps analogous to his own arduous family experience. This drawing by W. J. Hennessey appeared in the Christmas number of The English Illustrated Magazine, London, 1888.
