The Lovers as Preppies: U.C. Berkeley, 1980.

Shakespeare's naive young lovers are true to adolescents of any age, whether ancient Greeks or Preppies, as here. Before the full play we excerpted and staged the lovers' vagaries without any fairy interventions and the oscillations of feeling seemed quite contemporary and realistic.
