The evolution of Margaret from witty yet romantic seductress in "Henry VI" to harridan in "Richard III" is one of the most complex attractions of the tetralogy, as compressed into our video, "Plantagenet Women." Peggy Ashcroft's performance in this role was an outstanding feature of the Barton-Hall production at the RSC in 1963-4. See Videotape 5 in the Video Gallery of this site.
