This trailer illustrates the vivid intensity of Polanski’s  Macbeth images, which gives energy and freshness, enhanced by the youthful vigor of his Macbeths. Too often this script is staged by weary middle-aged actors in semi-darkness. Typical of Polanski,  mad Lady Macbeth’s brief nude scene became notorious.
